Но вот, казалось бы, к не очень откровенному платью Шарлиз Терон иранское телевидение отнеслось со всей строгостью. Было принято решение заретушировать наряд актрисы во время прямой трансляции церемонии «Оскар».
Актриса, вместе с Ширли Маклейн, объявила победителя в номинации «Лучший фильм на иностранном языке» (победил, кстати, иранский режиссер Асгар Фархади за фильм «Коммивояжер»).
Наряд Маклейн посчитали приемлемым, а вот оголенные руки и грудь Терон пришлось закрасить черной краской.
Активистка Масих Алинежад привлекла внимание к этому вопросу. Она противостоит иранскому закону, обязывающему девочек покрывать свое тело с семи лет. Она выложила видео к себе на Фейсбук и подписала так: «Женщины любых религиозных воззрений могут быть высечены и арестованы в Иране лишь за то, что не носят «правильный хиджаб».
